The Week In Bitcoin - Issue #97 - Vitalik Ethsplains Bitcoin, China Goes Cray, Doge Gets A Run In The NYT & More

I’ve been writing this newsletter for almost 2 years and I still can’t believe how much news there is in the chains and digital currency space on a weekly basis - I wonder what it all means? 🤔
This week a quote from Vitalik explaining the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum. I call this ethsplaining - which should always be punctuated with an explanation of proof of stake. Casper anyone? 👻
China is still (apparently) going hard at ICOs and digital currencies. Having said this, I really would like to see a reputable law firm bring out some analysis around the legislative stance being adopted there. It’s a bit hard to figure out what is fact and what is ficiton around this - turns out Google translate isn’t great for legal commentary.
Jackson Palmer gets a run in the NYT - something about a bubble in digital currencies… meh, to the moon and all that 🚀
